Last week saw me returning to my home county Yorkshire for Sarah and Chris’s wedding at Denton Hall in Ilkley. It seemed like ages ago since Sarah and Chris were in Liverpool for their engagement photo shoot.

I met up with Sarah and the girls for her bridal preparation pictures before heading off the the main part of the Hall to catch up with Chris and their guests. I recognised a fair few of the guests from other weddings I have photographed recently despite me being 80+ miles away from  my home in Liverpool.

The registrars were superb on the day and I was able to capture the service unhindered, why do some areas get this so right and others so wrong? (take note Birmingham registry!).

Sarah and Chris’s day was a very relaxed day and great to photograph, here are a few of my favourites from their day…

Hot on the heels of being published in Professional Photographer magazine, Kevin and Leanne’s wedding at the Sefton Palm House has been featured across 4 pages in Your Merseyside Wedding.

Kevin said in the article, “When we met our photographer, Rob Sanderson, we were really happy with his work. We were keen to have some arty images that we could put on our walls, rather than hide away in an album”.

Leanne and Kevin’s wedding at the palm house was great fun to photograph, it was nice to have it featured.

One of my fashion portraits taken last year of Louise on Liverpool’s waterfront has been featured in this months ’Professional Photographer magazine’. Its great to be recognised by such a prestigious publication.

Sarah, Chris and I hooked recently for an engagement photo shoot in Liverpool’s Sefton park. Chris and Sarah are getting married late this year in Ilkley so it will be a return to my home county Yorkshire for the day.
