Chris and Rebecca’s Alnwick Gardens wedding

Chris and Rebeccas wedding saw me heading up the A1 to Alnwick Gardens where I photographed last May. After having fun durring their recent pre wedding shoot I was really looking forward to this intimate and unusual wedding in Alnwick gardens. The rain was torrential the entire day but it never threatened to dampen their day.

For her bridal preparations, Rebecca was staying in a remote cottage 20 minutes away from Alnwick across desolate single track roads. A nice relaxed morning with her family whilst geting ready in such peaceful surroundings. It was soon time for me to jump in the car and renegotiate the twisty single track roads to Alnwick gardens where Chris and their guests were waiting.

Chris and Rebecca had an unusual ceremony that included a slide show! And had written their own vows.

Due to the weather we stayed inside most of the day but took advantage of a dry spell later in the day after the wedding breakfast and speeches.

Chris is a keen photographer himself and wanted to spend a little extra time on their fashion wedding photos which I was happy to oblige.

Chris and Rebecca’s Liverpool pre-wedding shoot…

New for me this year are pre-wedding shoots, they are great for getting to know each other and gaining confidence in front of a camera without the time pressures of your wedding day.

These are from Chris and Rebecca’s pre-wedding shoot we shot round Liverpool centre taking in the waterfront and St Georges Hall. Chris and Rebecca brought Sebastian with them to provide us with a backtrack of baby noises, I couldn’t resist including him in a shot :)

We all had such fun on the day and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding at Alnwick next week.

Neha and Soul’s Knowsley Hall wedding…

Last week saw me return once again to the spectacular Knowsley Hall, Liverpool for Neha and Soul’s wedding.

We started off at Neha’s parents house for her bridal preparations before heading off to St Pauls in West Derby for the wedding service. A big thanks to St Pauls for being a photography friendly church.

After the service we all made our way to Knowsley Hall for the wedding breakfast celebrations. This was a multi cultural, international wedding which was great fun to photograph.

Laura and John’s Knowsley Hall wedding

Laura and John’s wedding saw me back at the beautiful Knowsley Hall, Liverpool. Knowsley Hall is fantastic to photograph in, its a stunning building with gorgeous grounds and the staff are amazing and helpful.

I started the day as always with the bride and bridesmaids for Laura’s bridal preparations in Knowsley Hall before making my way to the main part of Knowsley Hall to catch up with John before the ceremony.

Once again I would like to give praise to the fantastic registrars wi have here in the north West who are very photographer friendly.

Laura and John had perfect weather the whole day meaning they and their guests could enjoy the grounds at Knowsley Hall durring the day . Then take in the opulent decor of Knowsley Hall in the evening.

After the wedding breakfast and speeches we headed off into the grounds to take a few fashion wedding photographs. It was soon time for their first dance, after which I left them to party!
