Caitriona and Anoop and are getting married next year at Tatton Park, so in contrast to their future wedding photography I decided to take them Liverpools waterfront for their engagement shoot.

The weather forecast was against us but it was looking ok so we decided to take our chances, I did however decide on a route more suitable to bad weather – just in case! As luck would have it we didn’t see too much rain but the stormy skies have led to some truly epic images.

As usual, we had good fun on our shoot, so much so Anoop declared, “It was less scary than I expected!” I can’t wait to shoot their Tatton Park wedding next year, its going to be brilliant.

Chris and Rebeccas wedding saw me heading up the A1 to Alnwick Gardens where I photographed last May. After having fun durring their recent pre wedding shoot I was really looking forward to this intimate and unusual wedding in Alnwick gardens. The rain was torrential the entire day but it never threatened to dampen their day.

For her bridal preparations, Rebecca was staying in a remote cottage 20 minutes away from Alnwick across desolate single track roads. A nice relaxed morning with her family whilst geting ready in such peaceful surroundings. It was soon time for me to jump in the car and renegotiate the twisty single track roads to Alnwick gardens where Chris and their guests were waiting.

Chris and Rebecca had an unusual ceremony that included a slide show! And had written their own vows.

Due to the weather we stayed inside most of the day but took advantage of a dry spell later in the day after the wedding breakfast and speeches.

Chris is a keen photographer himself and wanted to spend a little extra time on their fashion wedding photos which I was happy to oblige.

Forget the royal wedding, Jayne and Alex’s alternative Royal wedding at the Athenaeum in Liverpool centre was much more fun! Jayne and Alex’s wedding was an emotionally charged day and just lovely to photograph.

I started in Formby by photographing Jayne, Natalie and mum while they chilled out having their makeup done over a glass of champagne.

Their ceremony in the Athenaeum was carried out by my favourite registrar so a lovely service with lots of fun and even more emotion.

The atmosphere on the streets of Liverpool after the Royal wedding celebrations was great and we got a lot of attention from passers by while we took a few pictures before returning to the Athenaeum for Jayne and Alex to mingle with their guests and to be interviewed by Radio Merseyside!

I had a lovely day shooting Pete and Jenny’s glamourous wedding at Knowsley Hall, Liverpool, the place could have been built for wedding photography!

Pete and Jen traveled all the way from New York where they both now work to get married at Holy Cross Church in st Helens which is steeped in family history because Jenny’s parents and grandparents all tied the knot there too.

Pete and Jenny had hired a red double decker bus to transport their guests to Holy Cross in St Helens and from there to the very grand Knowsley Hall for their reception.

If I had just one word to describe Andrew and Aimee’s wedding in Liverpool’s 60 Hope Street it would be FUN, I’ve never seen people laugh so much!

Andrew and Aimee decided to share their day with their nearest and dearest and this was a lovely, intimate wedding that was a real pleasure to photograph.

After the service we headed down to the waterfront for a few photos before returning to 60 Hope street for the rest of their celebrations.
