Sabbah and Karl’s spectacular wedding at Alnwick gardens

Alnwick gardens is a wonderful place for a photographer, lots of light and countless cool places for photographs that change every week. It is however still open to the public so photographing there isn’t a walk in the park even though it is actually a park.

Sabbah is gorgeous. And these pictures are lovely – the second to last, with all the rustic wood and the sparkly lights behind her… perfect. Looking forward to seeing more!

Thank you all for your kind comments.

Sab and Karl, I’m so glad I lived up to your high expectations of me :) I really enjoyed myself you both made it so easy for me.

[...] After the service Duncan and Esther spent their time milling in the spectacular gardens with their guests before sitting down to their wedding breakfast, also at the gardens. It was fun and quite different shooting in the Botanical gardens. [...]

More investment…

Just wondering if you were serious about selling the D300 and if so how much for. I’ve just moved over from Olympus to Nikon hoping to do more portrait photography especially natural/low light which didn’t seem to suit the Olympus.

Anyway I’m looking to add another body and build up from there.

I live in Allerton so I’m not far away.

I really liked your photos and your style, definately a cut above the other L’pool wedding photography web sites I’ve looked at.

Kind regards

Ian

Thanks for the compliments on my photography Ian.

There is currently no better camera for low light work (like weddings) than the current crop of Nikon’s, I’m sure you have noticed a huge difference from your Olympus which starts off at a disadvantage by having a smaller sensor. The full frame Nikon’s I use are something special!

I was serious about selling the d300 but its long gone! It was snapped up, these are still a current model and used by many in the industry.
