I had a lovely day shooting Hayley and Stuart’s wedding at the Isla Gladstone conservatory in Liverpool.

I started at Hayley’s parents house to photograph her bridal preparations. Hayley, the girls, mum and dad were pretty chilled out when I arrived at the house and this great mood continued throughout the day. Once Hayley was in her dress it was time for me to make my way over to Isla to catch up with Stuart and the boys.

I arrived at the Isla Gladstone conservatory and spent some time capturing Stuart and the guests enjoying the amazing weather we had and readied myself for Hayley’s arrival.

Hayley and Stuart had a lovely service by Liverpools fabulous registrar service, with readings and even a sing-a-long to ‘when I’m 64′ before they walked back down the aisle.

Hayley and Stuart had gone to a lot of effort to make their wedding special and unique for their guests with all maner of entertainment and things to do.

Most of their time after the service was spent in the park enjoying the glorious sunshine we had that day before heading back inside for their speeches and wedding breakfast.

Sarah and Micky had a lovely Liverpool wedding at the very grand St Georges Hall. There had been worries about the weather with all that snow and ice about durring that week but all we ended up with was light rain, not that the weather is any concern when you have such a stunning venue at St Georges Hall, Liverpool.

Sarah got ready at her parents house which is where I started my cover of events before heading of to St Georges to meet up with Micky and the boys.

Sarah and Micky had a lovely service, Liverpool registrars are just fabulous and very couple centred in their service. I have not shot in St Georges Hall before but I hope I can shoot there again soon as the staff are fantastic and gave us free run of this grade 1 listed building which has made for some awesome wedding photographs for Sarah and Micky.

Sarah and Micky are a lovely warm couple and Micky has such a big sense of humour the day was immense fun for me.

Although I wouldn’t usually spend 4 hours traveling to a wedding on the opposite coast, as soon as I met Sabbah and Karl I knew I had to shoot their wedding! Sab is my self confessed number 1 fan and a regular contributor to my blog,  she will finally get to see and comment on her very own wedding photos.

Sabbah and Karl both left from Blackmoors hotel in Alnwick which gave me the opportunity to spend time with both of them before the ceremony, Sab getting pampered in her room whilst Karl met their guests in the bar downstairs before the short journey to Alnwick gardens for their ceremony.

Alnwick gardens is a wonderful place for a photographer, lots of light and countless cool places for photographs that change every week. It is however still open to the public so photographing there isn’t a walk in the park even though it is actually in a park.

Their ceremony was held in the glass walled visitor center with spectacular views across the lawn to the huge water fountain. The party then moved into the gardens grounds before heading across rope bridges to the tree house within the gardens for their wedding supper. This is no ordinary tree house though, its huge, is lit by fairy lights, filled with cool furniture carved from solid lumps of wood and has a log fire at its heart.

Sab and Karl had put a lot of thought into their unique wedding experience at Alnwick gardens with entertainment throughout the day for their guests including a magician and crooner. They both had a fantastic day and so did I, thank you for sharing it with me.

Steff and Ste’s wedding saw my return to fabulous beatles inspired Hard Days Night hotel here in Liverpool almost a year to the day.

We started the day at Steff’s parents house in Crosby before setting off on the ‘Magical Mystery Bus’ to the spectacular Christ Church in Bootle for their wedding service. The weather was not on our side so we made our way straight to Hard Days Night for the rest of the celebrations.

Steff, Ste and their guests had a relaxed and fun day to a beatles backtrack and had their first dance performed by a beatles tribute band.

Its always an honor to shoot someones wedding especially when the groom is a photographer too.

I’ve been excited about photographing this wedding at the Crowne Plaza in Speke, its a building that’s always caught my attention because of its 1920′s architecture and of course the classic airplane out front since my move to Liverpool last year. I was delighted to see the inside continues the 1920′s styling.

Becky and Jamie had a great, fun filled day which was quite uniquely them including tea and cake’s instead of canape’s and not forgetting this was new years day!
