Kate and Lee’s wedding at Hillbark, Cheshire…

I’ve been really looking forward to Kate and Lee’s wedding at Hillbark, Cheshire. Kate and Lee are such an easy going couple I knew their photos would have the relaxed quality I love in wedding photos.
Hillbark is a beautiful venue steeped in history, quite amazingly it started life on Bidston Hill in Birkenhead but in 1928 it was moved, brick by brick to its present site. It’s transit was completed in 1931.
I arrived to find a very relaxed Kate and friends drinking champagne. I also met up with a relaxed Lee and friends having a quiet drink before the ceremony too.
We had a lovely day at Hillbark, people were basking in the sun whilst sitting on the lawn with not even a hint of the forecast heavy rain. Kate and Lee had a ball!

Tommy and Emma’s Liverpool wedding at the Racquet club

I love photographing in the Racquet club in Liverpool centre, its such a unique venue and attracts fun couples like Tommy and Emma.
We started the day at Emma’s parents house where the girls (and dad) were enjoying a relaxed morning getting ready before setting off for the Racquet club for their service.
Tommy and Emma had a lovely service and had written their own vows which was both beautiful and moving too.
As great as the Racquet club is in its own right, its city centre location makes it ideal to visit city landmarks for some real Liverpool wedding photography.
Tommy and Emma were having such a fantastic time they asked me to stay an extra hour to capture even more memories for them, which I was more than happy to do.

Lucy and Ian’s wedding at St Joseph’s, Blundellsands and reception at London Carriage Works, Liverpool

Lucy and Ian had a lovely intimate wedding last weekend at St Josephs in Blundellsands.
We were blessed with perfect weather for photography and never saw any of the forecast rain. From the church we headed for Liverpool’s front for some fun with our photo shoot. We got some stunning images, I love my adopted hometown Liverpool, and its wealth of great photo opportunities.
We then headed to the London Carriage Works on Hope street to continue their wedding celebrations.
Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their wedding day.

Becky and Jamie’s Liverpool NYD wedding

Its always an honor to shoot someones wedding especially when the groom is a photographer too.
I’ve been excited about photographing this wedding at the Crowne Plaza in Speke, its a building that’s always caught my attention because of its 1920′s architecture and of course the classic airplane out front since my move to Liverpool last year. I was delighted to see the inside continues the 1920′s styling.
Becky and Jamie had a great, fun filled day which was quite uniquely them including tea and cake’s instead of canape’s and not forgetting this was new years day!
Here are just a few of my favorite photos from their day…

Carl and Victoria’s wedding at st Nicholas, Hale Village

I really enjoyed shooting Carl and Victoria’s wedding they are such a fun easy to get on with couple.
The weather threatened rain all day but luckily we didn’t see any, there was only got a light spattering later in the evening.
This was unusual in that they got married at st Nicholas in Hale Village but had arranged to take photographs at st Nicholas on Liverpool centre. We had great views of the city from st Nich’s and the nearby Arctic Hotel.
This was a lovely wedding and a pleasure to photograph.

Your wedding should be an amazing and fun filled day remembered by the photographs, not because of how long the photography took. This led me to develop a different approach to wedding photography that couples and their guests love.
I've created a unique blend of reportage and contemporary fashion photography that’s perfect for weddings. The natural pictures capture all the emotion of real moments in a way that traditional photography can't and the fashion photography adds the magic and sparkle missing in much of todays wedding photography. The result is a set of stunning photographs you'll treasure always, but with minimum impact on the enjoyment of your day.
